Visitors may enjoy hiking, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing on administrative roads and designated trails.  Equestrian camping is no longer permitted at R.O. Ranch and there are no restroom facilities.  Trails entrance and horse trailer parking is at the Crossway Branch trailhead.

Access

Crossway Branch Trailhead access from Mayo:

Travel 14 miles south on SR 51 turning left onto SE County Road 357 (Hines Hwy); travel 2.2 miles.  The entrance to the Crossway Branch trailhead is on the right.
