SRWMD Office, lands to close due to Tropical Storm Nicole impacts 

 
LIVE OAK, FLA, NOVEMBER 9, 2022 – Due to inclement weather from Tropical Storm Nicole, the Suwannee River Water Management District (District) Office and all lands will be closed on Thursday, November 10.
 
The District Office will remain closed on Friday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day and is scheduled to reopen on Monday, November 14.
 
All District lands are scheduled to reopen at noon on Friday, November 11, unless otherwise noted.
 
The District will continue to provide updates through web notices and social media postings. Local residents are encouraged to complete storm preparations and monitor real-time rainfall and real-time river and lake levels at the District’s website, www.MySuwanneeRiver.com, located under the Science & Data tab, to help make informed decisions about their area.  

The mission of the Suwannee River Water Management District is to protect and manage water resources using science-based solutions to support natural systems and the needs of the public. The District holds true to the belief of water for nature, water for people. Headquartered in Live Oak, Florida, the District serves 15 surrounding north-central Florida counties.
