- Lower Santa Fe and Ichetucknee Rivers and Springs
The Lower Santa Fe and Ichetucknee Rivers and Priority Springs are water bodies that have the potential to be affected by withdrawals in an adjacent water management district for which the Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) adoption of a reservation or MFL is appropriate pursuant to Section 373.042(2) of the Florida Statutes.
A current MFL, established in 2015, is in place. However, the Lower Santa Fe and Ichetucknee Rivers and priority springs are currently being re-evaluated. Technical documents have been released to the District’s Lower Santa Fe and Ichetucknee MFL peer review team and are also available for public feedback.
